Temple Trip

We were able to go to the temple last Saturday and had a wonderful experience. We arrived really early and stayed late to take pictures and enjoy the beauty of the temple grounds. Not being rushed was a wonderful blessing, as it seems that usually we are rushed. This was an attempt by the ward and the Elder’s Quorums to have a temple trip. The turnout was actually fairly good, which also made it nice. But the neat thing was that staying late we actually saw a sister from our ward who had missed our session be attended the next one. She was waiting for a ride, and was expecting to be waiting for nearly an hour, while some other ward members watched her young son. So staying a little later we gave her a ride and it all turned out well. Perhaps that was the greatest part of our outing—putting the covenants we had made into practice. Here’s a few pictures:
